I got the new all silver model and I like the black and silver better than all silver. But that’s minor, fast shipping and great amp. I’ve got a D.C. Audio 7.5k as well in my other vehicle and the Ampere Audio 5k sounds just as good!! Beast mode!! Follow my Build , “Arctic- Rush “ Build !! I really wasn't expecting it to pound the sh*t out of my Comps. Needless to say I'm happy with both of my Ampere Audio 150.4's. I'm a audio hobby-ist not a pro or competitor. I hope this helps with deciding on this amp. Good luck deciding, so many choices out there. These seem to be great amps with a very small foot print, and run very cool. A little warmer when bridged, but I'd say acceptable. If you think you might like it, I'd say you'll love it.

Pound for pound best performance to price 8 on the market. This Ampere audio 8 can hang with sundown x8 and ssa f8l 8 very easily. I put 4 in a 3 cube ported box with a sundown scv4000 and boy oh boy it got loud and low. People thought i had a pair of 15s in the car. I recommend this 8 all the way.
